Bringing teams together in one location to create a unified identity.

Before collaborating with Factory, the French teams of Sienna Investment Managers were historically split between two different locations. The idea was to bring all employees under one roof in an open space. 

But that wasn’t all. The space needed to reflect Sienna IM's identity, collaborative work style, and ambition, with the transition to flex office as the cornerstone.  

Transforming the offices into a key space where collaboration is central. 

It was also our “Future at Work” approach that made the difference. They wanted a partner who could understand not only their operations but also their aspirations. Far from just addressing technical challenges, our project aimed to embody Sienna IM's DNA.  

Sienna IM sought a partner with an integrated offer capable of managing everything on a very tight schedule.  

This new space needed to support their growth, enhance exchanges, and above all, engage teams. The goal was to transform their offices into a vital hub where collaboration thrives. 

A variety of spaces promoting more flexible and collaborative work. 

This step was crucial for understanding individual needs and work habits, allowing us to design tailored spaces. Based on this feedback, we created a more agile and connected environment. We increased the number of meeting rooms to facilitate formal discussions while adding informal areas for spontaneous conversations. 

To truly understand employee expectations, we began with an in-depth listening phase conducted with the help of La Fabrique Spinoza. 

Quiet pods were also implemented, offering those who need it a place to focus. This diversity of spaces promotes more flexible and collaborative work while respecting personal preferences. 

Flex office and refined design supporting well-being and a strong identity.

The transition to flex office at Sienna IM was carefully planned. With a ratio of 8 desks for 10 employees, comfort remained a priority. Acoustics were meticulously designed to ensure confidentiality and serenity, both crucial in the finance sector. Spaces also encourage movement. Standing desks were installed, offering alternatives to traditional workstations. A spacious cafeteria, accommodating up to 70 people, was created to foster relaxation and internal events. The entire space exudes warmth, with custom furniture, elegant decor, and abundant greenery softening the atmosphere.

Sienna IM wanted a space that fully reflected its values and identity. Inspired by their graphic charter, we created a subtle color palette integrated into signage, glass partitions, and even decorative details. To strengthen ties to their brand image, we collaborated with a photographer specializing in nature photography. Her works animate common areas and meeting rooms, adding a refreshing touch and a strong visual anchor. 

A project of this scale could not ignore environmental considerations. 

We chose to repurpose some existing furniture and selected recycled pieces from French and European brands. Additionally, we ensured that materials used were recyclable, reducing environmental impact.  

From the start, we sought to minimize its carbon footprint. 

This eco-friendly approach allowed Sienna IM to make choices aligned with its values while achieving modern, functional offices.  

This project succeeded thanks to close collaboration with the client and the dedication of our workplace, interior architecture, furniture, and space design teams. Sienna IM trusted us and followed our recommendations, particularly on space optimization, design, and environmental choices.  

Through these synergies, we created a workplace that not only meets team needs but anticipates future challenges by transforming work habits.

Levi’s, the sketch of a fashion revolution.

Founded in 1873 by Bavarian Levi Strauss, the blue jean has traversed centuries and continents to become an iconic piece in our wardrobes today. Originally designed to meet the needs of a workforce seeking durable, functional, and sturdy clothing, Levi’s jeans were, in their time, a beautiful metaphor for the "Future at Work."

Levi’s needs no introduction – the iconic, timeless, and ever-fashionable brand.

When this iconic brand contacted us to help create a hybrid cultural space, this collaboration felt like a natural fit at Factory!

Factory tailors the Haus of Strauss.

After a successful first experience in Los Angeles, Levi’s has continued this experiential tribute with four other iconic locations dedicated to the brand. Each space extends the brand experience through a specific theme and visit route, inspired by the host country. For its sixth Haus of Strauss, Levi’s chose Paris. As the capital of fashion, culture, and gastronomy, it was only fitting for this new Haus of Strauss to celebrate Levi’s fashion heritage and expertise.

A core part of global culture and heritage, Levi’s has for over 20 years brought the brand’s history and uniqueness to life through one-of-a-kind conceptual spaces with its “Haus of Strauss.”

Nestled in a true 17th-century mansion in the heart of the Marais, the Parisian Haus of Strauss aims to reconcile Levi’s Franco-American heritage while emphasizing its lesser-known fashion roots.

“For its sixth iconic location, this distinguished Haus of Strauss aims to become a true Parisian cultural destination.”

The Parisian Haus of Strauss will embody the fusion of two nations, combining the brand's Californian roots with the French fashion influence. Our playing field? 4 floors, 1,300 square meters of land, and 830 square meters of preserved classical architecture, to transform without altering.

More than just a trendy reception space designed by Levi’s, this distinguished Haus of Strauss will be a full-fledged cultural destination.

Our teams had to change their paradigm, deconstructing our traditional approach to workspaces in order to approach the staging of a brand in an experiential manner. Made possible through the close and continuous collaboration of our Experience Design, Design & Build, and Furniture & Décor teams, the idea was to translate the brand’s Californian DNA by reinterpreting and reinventing the use of each room in the house.


Levi’s rebuilds the foundations of its history in a cultural homage space.

We also had to distance ourselves from the marketing-driven approach of store scenography to create a purely experiential and narrative space using the brand's iconic visual codes. The central theme of this narration remains denim, woven throughout the space in the form of unique pieces that creatively repurpose the fabric for artistic and ornamental purposes.

Across these 4 floors, our mission was to design an unprecedented space where the history, heritage, and identity markers of Levi’s coexist in a constant dialogue.

The tour starts on the ground floor with the "Center of Gravity" of the house. This eponymous space offers a purely experiential entry between old wood paneling, audiovisual projections, and the diffusion of Levi’s advertising and historical content. A museum-like setting designed by our teams, allowing visitors to continuously experience something new. This nerve center opens up access to the outdoor spaces and leads to the key locations of the house.

The adjacent Living Room, more contemplative, features an exhibition of archival images and French and American cultural elements displayed across a wide decorative surface. Then comes the Informal Kitchen and the Dining Room, designed with custom-made pieces, including a massive solid wood dining table created specifically for this occasion.

From reworked toile de Jouy wallpaper to Californian cacti and plates from previous brand collaborations, everything was carefully thought out by our teams to trace Levi’s history and tell its origins.

For example, we recreated the iconic Tailor Shop, a service for customizing Levi’s pieces. Adorned in denim, sketches, and various inspirations, a cork wall decorated with pins and patches serves as a mood board for an authentic immersion.

On the first floor, visitors immerse themselves in Levi’s expertise.

The VIP Lounge goes one step further, diving visitors into the world of a tailor from the 1900s. For an even more realistic immersion into the Levi’s workshop origin, the space was fully conceptualized and scenographed. Measurement platforms, patterns, triptych mirrors, and a Louis XVI desk contribute to the authentic atmosphere.

Then comes the Showroom, the flagship exhibition space for the brand’s main collections and iconic pieces, blending retail codes with Californian markers. From clothing racks to cacti and baroque chandeliers.

In the same scenographic style, the Fitting Room oscillates between retail references and Californian vegetation, with a curiosity cabinet spirit. This exceptional space offers a museum-like experience where archived pieces, noble and organic materials come together to create a unique narrative.

This project is a contemporary tribute, not only to a cultural heritage but much more to a brand – a piece of history destined to become an essential part of Parisian cultural heritage.

Levi's - Haus of Strauss

Palatine does not spare any effort when it comes to excellence.

The strength of this project lies in our exceptional understanding.

With the same excellence and an unwavering passion for the profession for 240 years, Banque Palatine primarily supports professional players and mid-sized business leaders in a win-win financial partnership approach. 

Founded in 1780, Banque Palatine is a private national bank and a member of BPCE, the leading banking group in France.

From financing advice to asset management and wealth management, the bank offers a wide range of tailor-made expertise for its demanding clientele. Banque Palatine also stands out for its sense of proximity and a culture of excellence that has guided its activities for over two centuries, driven by its founding motto: *“The Art of Banking.”

Reinventing Palatine’s workspaces and professional uses.

Faced with outdated professional spaces unsuited to the needs of its 600 employees, Banque Palatine sought to bring modernity into its work environment and consolidate its workforce, which had previously been spread across two separate locations. 

Additionally, the objective was to create a more attractive workspace to encourage employees to return to the office, which was often underutilized in favor of remote work.

A major economic hub in this eastern Parisian district, the Joya building, with its 50,000 square meters of space, is a highly dynamic epicenter offering numerous infrastructure and services for employees. Restaurants, bakeries, and various shared spaces will be part of this glass colossus. 

Banque Palatine chose to establish its new headquarters once again in the Val-de-Fontenay business district in Fontenay-sous-Bois, near its previous offices.

The bank has settled on the 6th and 7th floors of this brand-new, BREEAM- and HQE-certified building, becoming its first tenant. 

Landmarks for a new haven.

Internal transformations necessitated an educational and collaborative approach, which we developed in partnership with *La Fabrique Spinoza* to address employee concerns and skepticism about these changes.  

This relocation marked a fresh start for Banque Palatine, requiring a comprehensive change management approach that engaged all teams. 

The first essential step in ensuring the viability of our architectural proposals was understanding employees’ needs, habits, and daily work realities. Palatine ambassadors voiced the concerns of the majority during workshops, helping us identify and collect the specific desires and requirements of different departments. 

We focused on the modularity of spaces and circulation strategies to design smart offices suited to various job functions. 

Coworking areas, open spaces, and the Café Club offer large, flexible environments conducive to telecommunication and collaboration, while concentration and confidentiality zones provide privacy for management and security-related roles.

Functionality also played a key role in fostering mobility: personal lockers, portable battery stations, abundant power outlets integrated into desks and seating areas…  

The idea was to break down barriers between teams and relationships, offering spaces that everyone could claim as their own—feeling at home everywhere. 

It was crucial to balance this sense of nomadism with the goal of reinforcing corporate culture, ensuring that despite flexibility, employees still felt a sense of belonging to *"la maison Palatine."

The brand’s signature colors were incorporated into signage, architectural elements, and decorative features, fostering a warm yet elegant atmosphere. Creating *landmarks* meant re-establishing a sense of belonging for employees—an environment where they feel comfortable, "like home."

Our mission was to identify spaces and new work habits while reconnecting the bank’s identity markers to its new offices. 

To achieve this, noble and raw materials coexist in a subtle palette of warm tones, organic textures, and black accents.  

Terracotta, wood, and greenery bring warmth to the spaces, while black, brass, and high-end furnishings exude sophistication. But how do you create *a true haven,* rather than just reference points? By reconnecting teams and fostering human connections.

To strengthen the sense of belonging, every floor features tea stations, a private terrace, and the Café Club—a central hub for informal interactions and shared moments among colleagues.  

Furniture inspired by domestic settings reinforces this welcoming atmosphere: portraits, bookshelves, armchairs, table lamps—all creating a personalized and cozy decor that promotes well-being. 

### This ambitious project involved numerous challenges and stakeholders, requiring constant coordination between decision-makers, employee representatives, the property owner, ambassadors, and regulatory bodies.  

Compliance with BREEAM guidelines and new building constraints set the framework for our proposals while also addressing the specific demands of the banking industry.  

Our Engineering team played a central role in the architectural project, ensuring compliance with environmental, energy, and legal regulations, as well as security requirements unique to the banking sector.  

Ultimately, the mission was accomplished: employees are gradually embracing their new work environment with greater ease and confidence, step by step.

Reimagining interiors to be more open to the world.

CNP Insurance has a presence in Europe and Latin America, providing cover to more than 50 million policy holders. CNP is the 2nd largest insurer in France, with more than 3,000 employees. Given the strength of the brand and the number of employees, the insurer needed a new head office in 2022.

At Factory, we worked with CNP to fit out their head office. Our key mission was to embody CNP's vision through its premises: openness to others and to the world.

Reinventing CNP's future premises: a major ambition.

With the move planned and construction in Issy les Moulineaux (Paris region) of the premises already underway, CNP contacted Factory with a major problem: how could these two business premises, which were almost too spacious for the group, be used intelligently?

Factory supported CNP by integrating new professional approaches at the heart of its workspaces.

As a key player in the new eco-neighbourhood of Issy Cœur de ville, CNP saw things on a grand scale: the two buildings of 7,500m2 provide accommodation for 25,000. 

Our architectural and creative response was based on two main expectations. The first was to support CNP in its transformation, by integrating new professional approaches at the heart of its workspaces.

As the world of work has shifted, managers and employees alike have to consider new parameters. Hybrid working, new ways of collaborating and quality of life now need to be fully integrated into planning and design considerations.

The post-pandemic world has changed, and so has the world of work.

Our aim was to put employees' needs back on the table and design offices adapted to their new uses. 

The second expectation, which largely drove the strategic response, was to think about the right way to use these large spaces without creating relational distance. 

Hybrid working, new ways of collaborating and quality of life now need to be fully integrated into planning and design considerations.

Encouraging innovation, collaboration and cross-functional exchanges between employees was a real challenge in the light of the dizzying amount of space.
